The illustration is featured twice in Switzerland's biggest archaeology journal
This is an archaeological illustration, a so-called "Lebensbild", that I created for the "Amt für Denkmalpflege und Archäologie" of Canton Zug, Switzerland, in late 2022. It is also featured twice in an issue of "ArCHaeo Suisse" (2024.1), Switzerland's biggest archaeology journal. In dialogue with archaeologists, I developed an illustration that tries to imagine how an archaeological site could have looked like approximately three thousand years ago. The illustration is closely based on the archaeological findings, the topography of the site, and the archaeologists' interpretations. It was an extremely interesting process and a lot of fun to work with the team.
